SCB will be Celebrating First Saturday Devotion, also called the Act of Reparation to the Immaculate Heart of The Blessed Virgin Mary. There will be confession available 7:30 am to 8:00 am, Rosary begins at 7:30 am followed by the prayer of Reparations, then 8:15 am Mass. Please spread the word about this First Saturday devotion. All are welcome.

The Office of Marriage and Family Life is pleased to announce the annual Silver Wedding Anniversary Celebration will be held on Sunday, February
16, 2025, 3:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, New Orleans. This prayer service will honor couples who are celebrating or
have recently celebrated their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. The celebration is open to couples married between 1995 - 2000.
To register, please contact your parish office by Friday, January 17, 2025.
Please Note: The Silver Wedding Anniversary celebration is a prayer service, not a Mass and will not fulfil the couple’s Sunday obligation.
Couples should plan to attend Mass at their home parishes.
The SAM Ministry is going to read and discuss a very good book written by a recovered alcoholic and addict who happens to be Catholic, Scott Weeman. The book is The Twelve Steps And The Sacraments. We will meet the third Monday of every month in the St Mark Room from 6:45 pm until 8:00 pm starting December 16th. You don’t have to have the book the first meeting, we will only go over the introduction. All are invited, those who are addicted, family members of loved ones of addiction and members of all Faiths.
