Evangeline of Ormond & Home and
Hospital Visits
This ministry brings communion to the residents of Evangeline of Ormond Nursing Home. A Mass is celebrated in the home every Monday morning. In addition, this ministry helps parishioners in need of transportation to doctor appointments, grocery stores, and drug stores. Volunteers also help with minor house maintenance.

Men's Club (Men of Manresa)
A men's group who meets monthly (normally on the 3rd Thursday of each month) for a 6:00 PM Mass, Rosary, Meal and Meeting. Annual retreats are scheduled for this group.

Fountain of Youth
Youth ministry program is open to all young people in the parish in grades 6 - 12. The goal of FOY is to provide a place to learn about God, serve others, share their faith, grow spiritually, develop meaningful friendships and discover who they are in their relationshiup with Gpd. This ministry involves both youths and adults working together in such a way that blesses the lives of both.

Parish Picnic
Annual SCB parish-wide Family Day Picnic that usually takes place outdoors in the Fall. Outdoor Mass, games, hay rides and music provides a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together for worship and fellowship.

SCB Ministry of CareThis ministry consists of lay persons interested in helping the needy of our area with food and other needs. Our society encourages members to look into scripture and see Jesus in those we help. We as members should gradually become deeply filled with the love of God and this love should be a guiding force for our work with the poor and needy. Calls are usually made on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the afternoon.
SCB Ministry of Care is devoted to finding ways to live out Christ’s call to care
for our brothers and sisters who are in need. Just as St. Francis of Assisi challenged
himself to live a life of humble service to God and others, this ministry at
St. Charles Borromeo Church aims to do the same by serving and providing aid
to individuals and families in our community. The aid we provide includes financial
assistance, referrals to community organizations and, many times, simply
listening to those who come to us for help and support.
Any contribution, large or small, means we are able to help the needy in this
community. You may choose one of the following ways to donate: One-time gift,
Weekly or monthly donation, Memorial donation in lieu of flowers. All checks
should be made payable to: SCB Ministry of Care

Servants of the Good Shepherd
This ministry provides food (finger sandwiches, drinks and chips) for family gatherings after funerals.

Link: https://scbsaministry.shutterfly.com/The SAM Ministry is going to read and discuss a very good book written by a recovered alcoholic and addict who happens to be Catholic, Scott Weeman. The book is The Twelve Steps And The Sacraments. We will meet the third Monday of every month in the St Matthew Room from 6:45 pm until 8:00 pm starting August 19th. You don’t have to have the book the first meeting, we will only go over the introduction. All are invited, those who are addicted, family members of loved ones of addiction and members of all Faiths. This ministry offers assistance to those parishioners who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Meetings are held on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the St. Mark Room.

Peace and Justice Ministry

SCB Peace and Justice Ministry
Our new Peace and Justice Ministry was created as result of the recent Synod, initiated by Archbishop Aymond. The purpose of the Synod was to prayerfully discern God’s vision and priorities for our local churches for the next several years. Our mission is to serve the parish as a resource catalyst for the work of social justice.
Our goal is to advance Catholic Social Justice through Prayer, Awareness, Education and Action. The most important setting for the Church’s social teaching is in prayer and worship especially gathered around the altar for the Eucharist. Integration of Liturgy and Justice makes it clear that we are one people united in faith, worship and works of charity and justice. We need to be a church that helps believers recognize Jesus in the breaking of the bread and those without bread.
Our Ministry Projects will be implemented in St. Charles Parish and will include:
