One Day Advent Retreat presented by Mr. Michael Patin. Through the use of Mike's sense of humor, he captures audiences while conveying the message of the Liturgical Season and brings us closer to our Lord. All are invited to attend on Saturday, December 13th, 2014. Donations will be accepted to help defray the cost of the retreat and lunch will be provided. Please call the parish office at 985-764-6383 if you plan on attending so we can get an estimate of how many to prepare for.
Our theme for our 35th annual fair is
"SCB Goes to the Islands".
BIG RAFFLE – Win $10,000 Don’t miss your opportunity to become a part of this new & exciting Big Raffle. $100 per ticket but only 300 tickets will be sold. Can’t afford $100 – buy a ticket with a group and split the winnings. Consider your odds! Drawing will be held on
May 3, 2015.
Hollow Eggshell Contest – Flyers were sent home to all students in the past week concerning this contest. Please bring your hollow eggshells to the Parish Office during working hours. Write the stu-dent’s name on the containers in order for them to get credit. A dozen confetti eggs is equal to a $3 profit for the fair.
Donations of stuffed animals and trinkets for
Grab Bags are needed for prizes for some of the game booths.
Confetti (cross cut only) is needed to stuff hollow eggshells.
Sweet Booth is looking for volunteers to bake goods for their booth. If you like baking or making candy, please call Kitty Fau-cheux at (985) 764-6383 to donate some of your time to this worthy cause. Donations of sugar, pecans, flour, sugar, etc. are also needed and can be brought to the Parish Office during regular working hours.
Volunteers are needed in
all areas. Consider donating your time, talent and/or treasure to make this another suc-cessful year. New parishioners – don’t miss this opportunity to meet your fellow parishioners and become a part of our wonderful church community.
