If you are ready to share your Catholic faith with others in a dynamic way through the corporal & spiritual works of mercy precisely during the days we live -by Our Lord's side - his Passion, Death and Resurrection, this is your chance. Holy Week missionary will . . . touch the lives of others through simple acts of mercy - words of hope and love as they encounter a homeless person, a kind smile to a stranger in need, feeding the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, visiting the sick; their mere welcoming presence will often spark in the lonely passer-by the desire to discover to Christ, again or for the first time. . . Holy Week Mercy Missions are a response to the Holy Father’s call: “go out, be not afraid, and serve!” Our YOUTH and FAMILIES will be carrying the works of mercy by which we come to the aid of our brothers and sisters in their bodily and spiritual needs. High School young men and women (ages 15 and up, are invited to the full mission experience, staying overnight 3 nights in the facilities of Mater Dolorosa Parish, 6pm Wednesday 28th through Easter Vigil the 31st). Families with children are encouraged to do day missions, participate in the cross walk, and street evangelization ( (Thursday through Saturday, during the day).
