National Eucharistic Pilgrimage, - New Orleans, June 7-9, 2024 - The National Eucharistic Revival will culminate with two major national events: Four cross-country Eucharistic Pilgrimages from the North, South, East, and West and converging at the National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis to be held July 17-21 of this year. 2 young men, 4 young women, 2 seminarians, and a Priest and a Brother from the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal will be making the entire Southern “Juan Diego” pilgrimage from Brownsville, TX to Indianapolis, IN. The Archdiocese of New Orleans will welcome the pilgrims June 7-9, 2024 with two public celebrations: On Friday June 7th beginning at 6:30 p.m., Archbishop Aymond will lead a public Eucharistic Procession from the steps of Notre Dame Seminary and proceeding to St. Rita’s Church on Lowerline Street. The procession will be followed by a time of Eucha-ristic Adoration with music provided by the Vigil Project and a reflection by one of the perpetual pilgrims. Archbishop Aymond will offer the 9:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday, June 9th at St. Louis Cathedral followed by a Eucharistic Procession around Jackson Square. All are invited.
